# Upkeep > Keeps my repositories and their consumers up to date, and shows what needs doing. # Overview Source: https://upkeep.timmo.dev/ Upkeep keeps my repositories and the projects that use them up to date, and shows what needs doing in one place. It's built for my own use, in the open. It's being planned. The plan and the decisions still open are tracked in [timmo001/upkeep#1](https://github.com/timmo001/upkeep/issues/1), and these docs grow as each part lands. ## What's decided - A worker runs jobs, and a web dashboard shows their state beside pull requests, issues, notifications and releases. - Jobs start on a new release of one of my repositories, on a schedule, or from a run button. - Changes are checked before they're pushed, and a failure is fixed forward rather than left waiting. - Every first-party repository rolls its releases out to its consumers through Upkeep. ## Machine-readable docs | URL | Use | | -------------------------------------- | ---------------------------------------- | | https://upkeep.timmo.dev/llms.txt | Compact page index | | https://upkeep.timmo.dev/llms-full.txt | Full docs bundle | | https://upkeep.timmo.dev/mcp | Hosted MCP (search, page and navigation) | | `/{route}.md` | One page as Markdown | --- # Agents Source: https://upkeep.timmo.dev/agents Upkeep gives agents the same operations people get, from one list, following Groundwork's [behavior conventions](https://groundwork.timmo.dev/behavior): | Surface | How | | --------- | ----------------------------------------------------------- | | Code Mode | `upkeep agent tools --json` prints the manifest | | MCP | `upkeep mcp` serves the operations on stdio | | CLI | Every command that returns data takes `--json` | | Skill | `upkeep` tells an agent which to use, Code Mode first | | Operation | Access | Does | | --------- | ------ | -------------------------- | | `status` | Read | Lists the jobs Upkeep runs | There are no jobs yet, so `status` lists none. Each job adds its operations as it lands. ## Skill Install it with the [Skills CLI](https://skills.sh): ```bash npx skills add timmo001/upkeep --skill upkeep ``` Or in Claude Code: ```text /plugin install upkeep --marketplace timmo001/upkeep ```
